Purpose: 

The purpose of this organization is to organize, support, and coordinate all activities of the Watkins Glen Athletic program and establish responsibility to one specific organization.  The organization will also promote school spirit and develop unity among all athletes.  This organization will primarily serve the school but also reach out to the community through a variety of volunteer activities.  

Election of Officers: 

Elections for officers take place at the closing meeting in May.  A majority of the membership should be present.  The officers are elected by a process of open nominations and closed ballot voting.   The officers include president, vice-president, secretary, and treasurer.  Officer positions will be held until the end of the following school year.  The newly elected officers will take their positions in the fall.

Meetings:

Meetings of the organization are held on the first and third Tuesdays of each month during lunch.  This meeting is for officers only.  The second meeting of the month is open to all.  This meeting will be held during lunch as well.

November, 2008

This year's fundraiser raised $800 for the Hughey family.  Thanks for your support.

Class of 2010/2012 defeated the Class of 2009/2011 by a score of 10-7.  Kelly's last minute field goal was the game winner!
