Message from our Principal:

Welcome to the High School. We have a number of programs in place that we are proud of for our students. Our staff is a very supportive group and always has the needs of our students in mind. A nice balance of experienced teachers and new staff complement and interact very well with each other.

Here are a few things we have in place that enhance the educational experiences for our students

 ·    After School Homework Help continues to be successful.  On any given night many students stay with teachers, in the Library catching up on class work.  Students struggling in academics are able to remain eligible for activities and sports because they make the extra effort on their class work. In addition to the teachers that are staying to help, we will be asking honor students to volunteer to assist their classmates.  We would extend that invitation to any parent that would be able to join us on after school.

·    Parent Connect has been implemented.  It is an internet access program that allows parents to connect to their child’s attendance, grades, and discipline records.  If you are interested in signing up for this program you can contact the district office and talk to Sharon Clark.  She will give you the necessary information and assign a password to you.

.    We have a number of AP and ACE accelerated classes for our students and the technology resources are second to no other school in the area. Currently 18% of our student body is enrolled in these classes.

We are very proud of our High School Learning Community and continue to develop a strong partnership with our parents and our local agencies.

As always feel free to contact me at the high school with any questions or concerns
