School facilities may be used by the people of the district for instruction in any branch of education, learning, or the arts, for social and recreational meetings, and for entertainment or for other use pertaining to the welfare of the community, when the facilities are not utilized for school activities.
Community youth organizations, adult community service organizations and other governmental agencies permitted to use school facilities shall be required to pay staff salary and fringe benefit costs occasioned by such facilities use. Private organizations, including corporations and commercial firms, permitted to use school facilities shall be required to pay staff salary and fringe benefit costs occasioned by such facility use, plus fees for the use of the facilities as set forth in a fee schedule. Applications for use of school facilities must be filed with the school office prior to the date for which use of the school facilities is requested. It needs to be downloaded to your local computer, printed, filled out and either faxed or mailed to Gayle Sedlack at the WGCSD Business Office. We've also enabled a Facilities Schedule Lookup program, whereby the public and community can see what areas of the district are available for reservation.
